The Days of Awe are a time when we are deeply aware of our duty to care for one another and the world around us. At Sha’arei Tsedek we seek to follow the Torah’s guiding principles of חסדים גמילות gemilut chasadim – acts of kindness, מעשים טובים ma’asim tovim – good works and צדקה tzedakah – charity.
This year we are supporting Oasis of Peace and Sha’arei Tsedek.
Oasis of Peace translates to “Neve Shalom” in Hebrew and “Wahat al-Salam” in Arabic.
NSWaS is a unique community where Jewish and Palestinian-Arab Israeli citizens coexist.
Located between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, NSWaS is a pioneering model for Palestinian-Arab and Jewish initiatives promoting peace, equality, and shared citizenship.
We aim to raise funds towards bursaries for local children from nearby Arab villages in Israel, allowing them to attend the primary school within the village.

This year we celebrate 63 years as a community, with 25 of those in our wonderful building.
