Yom HaZikaron – Yom Ha’Atzmaut

Israel’s Day of Memorial for the Fallen, and Israel’s Day of Independence

Bringing our communities together in prayer, in song, in hope

Monday 13 May, 7.00 pm

Four Reform and Liberal synagogues: Finchley Progressive Synagogue, The Liberal Synagogue Elstree, Sha’arei Tsedek North London Reform Synagogue and Southgate Progressive Synagogue, will come together to mourn those who have lost their lives, and will then move on to celebrate 76 years of Independence.

Join us in the journey, from darkness towards hope; weaving together prayer, witness testimony from Israel today, and powerful music with singers from all four communities together with Sha’arei Tsedek’s choir. This evening will express the richness and complexity of our relationships with Israel as never before. Come and be part of it.
