As the Days of Awe draw near, we enter a sacred season of reflection, renewal and generosity – a time to strengthen our community and extend our care to others.
This year’s Days of Awe Appeal offers two meaningful ways to make a difference. Through your generosity, you can:
* Support Hatzola HBS, a remarkable volunteer-led emergency medical service
whose lifesaving work reflects our shared Jewish values of compassion, responsibility and service.
* Support Sha’arei Tsedek, helping us remain a welcoming, vibrant and secure synagogue where people of all ages can pray,
learn, celebrate and build lasting connections.
Together, these two appeals enable us to care for our own community while also supporting an organisation dedicated to saving lives and serving others.
Each year, as part of our Days of Awe Appeal, we invite our community to support a charity whose work reflects our Jewish values of compassion, responsibility and caring for others.
This year, we are proud to support Hatzola HBS (Hadley Wood, Barnet & Southgate), a volunteer-led emergency medical service providing rapid response, emergency medical assistance and transport to hospital. Staffed by highly trained volunteers, Hatzola responds to emergency calls from people of all backgrounds and faiths, delivering vital care when it is needed most.
By supporting Hatzola HBS, we are helping an organisation that embodies kindness, dedication and community service. It is a meaningful way for us to respond to the challenges of our world with hope, compassion and practical action.
The Days of Awe are a time of reflection, gratitude and giving. Alongside supporting our chosen charity, we also invite you to support Sha’arei Tsedek.
Providing a welcoming, vibrant and secure home for our community comes at a significant cost, and ensuring the highest standards of security remains one of our most important responsibilities.
